10th International Translation and Interpreting Conference

The conference is organised by the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology of Voronezh State University with the support by Ecole Superieure d’Interpretes et de Traducteurs (ESIT) and the Russian Translators Association.

We welcome contributions on the following topics:

• Translation as cultural adaptation
• Cognitive and psychological aspects of translation and interpreting
• Translator/Interpreter as cultural mediator
• Gender identity and translation/interpreting
• Text and discourse from translator’s perspective
• Pedagogical and methodological issues in translator/interpreter training

Conference Format: the Conference will feature plenary sessions, section sessions, workshops and roundtables

Presentations: Section paper (20 min), Workshop paper (10 min), Roundtable contribution (8-10 min)

Conference Languages: Russian, English, German, French.

Conference fee: 130 Eur (incl. 3 buffet lunches on the premises). The fee covers registration and programme, coffee break refreshments and a buffet dinner.
