From 27th–29th October, a VSU delegation including Professor Oleg Belenov – Vice-Rector for Economic Development and International Cooperation – and Professor Elena Alekseeva – Head of the Department of French Philology at VSU – visited VSU's partner universities in Lille and Paris. During the meetings, the parties discussed spheres of prospective partnership between French and Russian universities.
On 27th and 28th October, the delegation had business meetings at the University of Lille I and the University of Lille III, resulting in partnership agreements between these universities and VSU. Within these agreements, several VSU students have already completed an exchange education course at the Faculty of Economics, Management and Marketing at University Lille I: Sciences and Technologies. The delegation also met with the Vice-President of University Lille I Francois Olivier Seys, Head of International Relations Office Véronique Level, International Projects Manager Thomas Heckly, and associate professor Sylvain Villar to discuss a double degree bachelor's programme in commercial network management.
