Voronezh State University has quite a number of international contacts – it works in collaboration with world leading universities, launching joint educational programs, and exchange programs for students and academic staff. VSU is regularly visited by well-known lecturers, professors, and heads of large companies.
On the 16th September, Nicola Scaramuzzo, Head of the EU-Russian Cooperation Programme, Delegation of the European Commission to Russia, visited VSU.
During the presentation "Study, research, teaching in Europe" he told about the new EU programmes for education and academic mobility. He also discussed the coming visit of Vygaudas Ušackas, Ambassador, Head of the EU Delegation to the Russian Federation, to Voronezh with Dmitry Endovitsky.
Gregor Berghorn, Head of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Moscow, Maria Putselova, Manager in research and technology of the Delegation of the European Commission to Russia, and Anna Muravieva from Russian National Tempus Project also presented their new programmes.
Today VSU has 10 joint projects with the EU – 6 projects under the Tempus programme, 3 projects under the EU's Seventh Framework Programme for Research (FP7) and 1 project under Erasmus Mundus, the EU academic mobility programme.
