Between 9 and 11 October, the regional sports tourism championship was held in the Vorontsovka village of the Pavlovsk region. The 'Belaya Gora' tourist club of Voronezh State University was represented by two teams of sportsmen. During the three days of the championship, the students took part in all the stages of the competition, some of them trying to do such large-scale sports for the very first time.
Based on the results, the gold medal was won by a student of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics Inna Kachevskaya and a student of the Faculty of Physics Tatiana Bodaichuk, who had clocked the best time in the team. In addition, our sportsmen also took the second and third places in the team and individual races.
The awarding ceremony took place on 11 October at the competition venue. The athletes sang the national anthem of the Russian Federation, and then lowered the flag, symbolizing the end of the contest.
