An examination centre for DELF A1-B2 and DALF C1-C2 international examinations in the French language was created on the basis of the Regional French Language Centre under Voronezh State University with support from the French Embassy in the Russian Federation.
DELF (Diplome d'Etudes en Langue Francaise) and DALF (Diplome Approfondi de Langue Francaise) are the main international examinations in the French language developed in 1985 by the Ministry of Education of France. The quality of the way these examinations are conducted is controlled by the state centre of international education CIEP (Centre International d'Etudes Pedagogiques) in Paris which Voronezh State University has a collaboration agreement with.
In September 2015 lecturers from the VSU Regional French Language Centre completed a training programme organised by the French Embassy and the French Institute in Moscow in order to acquire examiner status for DELF-DALF international examinations in the French language. On completion of the test the lecturers were awarded the certificates of the Ministry of Higher Education and Research of France which grant them the right to conduct DELF A1-B2 and DALF C1-C2 international examinations in the French language. Elena Alekseeva, the Head of the Department of French Philology and the Director of the Regional French Language Centre, was appointed to supervise the certification examination centre.
