On November 9th and 10th, the V International Forum on Business Incubation took place at Moscow State University of International Relations. Our university was represented by Alexander Khvan, Head of the VSU innovative business incubator. The event was organized by MGIMO and Fund for Innovation Development and Business Incubation MGIMO with support from the International Business Innovation Association.
During the two days of the forum Alexander Khvan had a number of meetings with prospective partners and colleagues. Among them were the representatives of MGIMO, the Higher School of Economics, and business incubators of Saratov, Penza, Izhevsk, and Yaroslavl. The meeting resulted in collaboration agreements concerning the measures aimed at promotion of business activity. Alexander Khvan also participated in several workshops within the following sessions: "New Business Models for Business Incubators: Expanding Services and Revenue Streams", "Using Lean Start-up Methods to Help More Clients and Grow Better Companies", "How Companies Scale: Management, Market Intelligence and Funding for High Growth Companies", and "High Impact Space: Digital Studios, CoWorking, and Other Ways to Attract Customers".
– The innovation system in our country is very dynamic, and we need to keep growing and developing to keep up with its rhythm. Taking part in such events and talking to the leading international experts helps us exchange experience and gain new knowledge, – said Alexander Khvan.
