On November 11th, Maria Dutova and Sophia Novikova, students of the Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology, took part in "Free time for parents" a campaign organised by the Voronezh Rehabilitation Centre for Children and teenagers, Parus Nadezhdy.
The Centre's specialists, Galina Shvetsova and Tatiana Shalneva, teach school pupils, students and other volunteers to communicate with children who have different developmental conditions. Students were looking after the children for two hours, while their parents were talking to the specialists.
– It was a great experience. I worked with children with autism spectrum conditions, but we still managed to get on with each other, – said Maria Dutova.
