An assistant of the Faculty of Physics came back from the Russian Masters Swimming Cup with two sets of medals and a record of Russia

Between 27th and 29th November the 22nd Russian Masters Swimming Cup took place in the complex "Nevskaya Volna" in Saint Petersburg. An assistant of the Faculty of Physics of Voronezh State University Yuriy Perin took part in the competition. All in all 799 swimmers registered for the Cup.

Yuriy Perin won two gold medals in the 100-meter backstroke setting a new record of Russia and in the 200-meter backstroke as well as two silver medals in the 50-meter backstroke and as part of the team "Spartak" (Voronezh) in the medley relay. Moreover, Yuriy Perin won two bronze medals in the 100-meter medley and as part of the Voronezh team "Spartak" in the medley relay.
