Our students organise an interactive concert for children from the Grafskoye children’s health camp

On 19th December, students of the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, and activists of the student team of train conductors ‘Hermes’, held an interactive concert for children in the Grafskoye children’s health camp. Among the spectators were over 40 children between the ages of 6 and 14.

The participants of the event made their way through the thicket with such fairy-tale characters as Vasilisa the Wise and Ivan the Fool, sang New Year songs with Kot Bayun, did the puzzles of Baba Yaga, and danced with the bandit Solovey Razboynik and the Water Spirit. In the final the kids defeated Kostchey Bessmertny and got the hidden key from the coffer with sweet prizes.  After the concert Ded Moroz and Snegurochka wished the children a Happy New Year and gave them New Year presents – puzzles depicting Russian fairy-tale characters. The children, in their turn, made New Year post cards for Ded Moroz.

As for the older children, the representatives of the student team of train conductors ‘Hermes’ held for them an open workshop where they told them about labour nurturing of the youth and student teams activity. The audience showed a lot of interest in the talk and asked many questions.
