Voronezh State University has signed a collaboration agreement with the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo). The two organizations' collaboration is aimed at developing, promoting, and supporting Russian education internationally.
The agreement provides for implementing joint projects in research methodology and education. Under the collaboration agreement, there are plans for developing the following areas:
- cooperation in the sphere of education and science;
- developing student and teacher academic mobility;
- promoting a positive image of present-day Russia in the world;
- engaging foreign residents in learning the Russian language, culture, and history.
According to the agreement, Rossotrudnichestvo's representative offices and VSU are to organize joint projects, exhibitions, festivals, conferences, round tables, and presentations. All of this is as relevant as ever, considering that Voronezh has been named the CIS cultural capital.
The agreement was signed thanks to Voronezh State University's productive international activities being recognized by the government, and it is aimed at optimizing them even further.
