From 25–29 April, on the initiative of the Chinese party a delegation of Voronezh State University paid a visit to Guangzhou (China). The visit was aimed at developing scientific and academic cooperation.
One of the main goals of the visit was discussion of developments by the VSU Department of Electronics of the Faculty of Physics between a large electronic corporation Chuangtian Electronic CO LDT and the Department of Electronics of Jinan University (Guangzhou). As a result of research at the Russian-Chinese laboratory "Information Technologies and Fractal Signal Processing" (Head Researcher – Dr. habil. in Physics and Mathematics Alexander Potapov) conducted by Jinan University and the Institute of Radio-engineering and Electronics of the Russian Academy of Sciences in collaboration with the Department of Electronics of Voronezh State University WiFi fractal chip antennas have been developed. The Chinese colleagues have also shown interest in potentiometric sensors analyses methods development conducted at the Department of Analytical Chemistry of Voronezh State University.
During the visit Anatoly Bobreshov, the dean of the Faculty of Physics, Olga Bobreshova, professor at the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the Faculty of Chemistry, Grigory Uskov, Associate Professor at the Department of Electronics gave lectures in Jinan University and presented scientific developments of the Department of Electronics of Voronezh State University to Chuangtian Electronic CO LDT.
As a result of the meeting with the president of Jinan University, cooperation agreements between Voronezh State University, Guangzhou Pedagogical University, and Chuangtian Electronic CO LDT were initiated and discussed.
