"Colours of the Day" in VSU

On 25 May, Voronezh State University Museum of History opened an exhibition of works by Svetlana Zinenko "Colours of the Day". When she studied at the Art Academy her tutor was an Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation Andrei Bogachev. Svetlana works in the genres of a narrative, portrait, landscape, and  still life.

Since 2002, Svetlana Zinenko has been a member of the Union of the Artists of the Russian Federation. She has taken part in Voronezh, regional, and national exhibitions: "In your name", "Russia X", and two national youth exhibitions. Svetlana's works can be found in Kramskoi Voronezh Art Museum, national and foreign galleries and collections.

In 2013, Svetlana Zinenko took part in a joint project by VSU and Kramskoi Voronezh Art Museum  "Academic theme in works by Voronezh artists". The artist added portraits of the university lecturers to the university virtual gallery. The atmosphere, the quiet colours, themes and manner of the airy and serene works of the talented Voronezh artist Svetlana Zinenko are reminiscent of impressionists who were so sensitive to the beauty of the world.
