At the Laboratory of Medical Cybernetics of the Faculty of Computer Sciences of Voronezh State University, the first phase of the Emonet system which considerably expands the opportunities for user interaction with both the computer and the other users in social networks and multimedia content has been successfully started.
Based on the heart rate variability wave pattern registered with the help of wireless sensors, it is possible to assess the parametres of the person's functional stress, including the intensity of their emotions. The data obtained in the form of numbers, graphs, and colour scale changes, is used for shifting the priority of running certain programs and telling the other users of social networks or computer games about the emotional response of the user on their "friend" list to various events, messages, videos or any other multimedia content.
