Between 16 and 17 April, a regional stage of the student intellectual league "Intelliada" cup took place at the Faculty of Law of Voronezh State University. The third stage of the spring competitions of the VSU championship of the game "What? Where? When?" was held within the "Intelliada" tournament. The regional stage of "Intelliada" was organised by Vyatka State University and the all-Russian public organization "Students of Russia". The project is implemented in line with the programme for the development of student communities of Vyatka State University.
26 teams took part in the tournament, including representatives of Bunin gymnasium and a team from Lipetsk. The host of the event was a member of the elite television Club "What? Where? When?" and a Crystal Atom Prize winner Konstantin Ruder.
According to the results of the 30 question tournament, the winners in the overall competition was the team of students from the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics "Mimo prokhodili" (Just passers-by). In the students competition the leadership belonged to the team of the Faculty of Law "Prizrak opera" (Phantom of the opera). This team will represent Voronezh at the 16th Intellectual Games Student Championship of Russia.
At the end of the tournament, Konstantin Ruder told the audience about some approaches and techniques that can be used to prepare for a game and answered students' questions. What is more, the guest presented an unusual prize - a copy of the famous gaming table from the elite club. The prize will be awarded to the winners of the spring games of the VSU championship. Additionally, the Faculty of Law held a “Brain-Ring” tournament. The winner of the event became the team for the Voronezh State Technical University "TOE".
