Director of Master's Degree Programmes in Linguistics of Aston University visit our university

On 25 April, a meeting between the rector of Voronezh State University, Dmitry Endovitsky, the vice-rector for Economics and International Cooperation, Oleg Belenov, and the director of Master's Degree Programmes in Linguistics of Aston (Birmingham, UK), Dr Nur Kurtoglu-Hooton, took place at Voronezh State University. Dr Nur Kurtoglu-Hooton is an expert of the Tempus project “Developing the Teaching of European Languages: Modernising Language Teaching through the development of blended Master Programmes” (544161-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-UK-TEMPUS-JPCR Aston University).

During the discussion, Dmitry Endovitsky emphasized how fruitful the cooperation between VSU and Aston University is and expressed his hope that it would successfully continue in the future. The VSU rector paid special attention to the possibility of establishing joint master's programmes and the recruitment of students from both universities to the summer school that will help them improve their knowledge in Russian language and culture.

Moreover, the participants of the meeting discussed the possibilities for future cooperation, both within the existing project and in other areas of international cooperation.
