Voronezh State University has concluded a research and technology collaboration agreement with the Chinese company Rubber Valley Company, Ltd. It stipulates joint research conducted within the project "Development of new technologies for production of compositions based on elastomers modified with nanomaterials" aimed at creating innovative technologies for high molecular compounds. The terms of the partnership were discussed by the president of Rubber Valley Company, Ltd. Zhang Yan, and a professor of the Faculty of Chemistry of VSU, Vyacheslav Kuznetsov, during a visit by our university delegation to China.
An application for the project has been submitted for participation in an open competition for receiving grants within a federal target programme "Research and development in top-priority areas of science and technology in Russia for 2014–2020". Among other participants of the agreement are the Voronezh branch of the Lebedev Research Institute of Synthetic Rubber and EVE Rubber Research Institute (Qingdao, China).
