On May 10 and 11, our students and employees had the opportunity to attend lectures by an expert on international management and education quality control, Rupert Beinhauer, from FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences (Graz, Austria).
The first lecture on “Education methodology and ethics in European universities” was quite informative and useful for those who want to participate in exchange programmes and double degree programmes with our partner universities in Europe. Those students who have already been recommended for participation in exchange programmes, also found the lecture very interesting.
The second lecture on “Cross-cultural management” attracted students from various faculties, as well as faculty members and other VSU employees working on international projects.
The lectures were arranged by the UNIQUE Centre of VSU's International Department. The centre provides advice to VSU students and lecturers regarding issues relating to international academic mobility and the features of the European system of education.
This May, within the framework of the International Forum "Education and culture in CIS – development prospects” held at VSU, Mr. Beinhauer also organized a workshop on "Education methodology and ethics in European universities" for the participants of exchange programmes.
