On 21 September, a fair of student mobility programmes was held in the reading hall of the university main building. Natalia Zhurbina, Head of the Department for International Cooperation, gave a welcoming speech. She shared her own experience of taking part in international internship programmes, and said that they were a vital part of her education. She also told the students about the university’s international partners and the international mobility programmes available at VSU.
Members of the International Student Exchange Office gave advice on how to get to study abroad for a full term, and how to apply for Erasmus+ scholarships for post-graduate students. Marion Schwenne, member of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) told our students about the DAAD scholarships. The students also learned about the opportunities provided by the Russian Government programme "Global Education”, and VSU students’ projects “Buddy Club” and "The Language tandem”. Taking part in such projects is a good opportunity to practice intercultural communications and learn foreign languages.
