Voronezh State University for the second time in a row took part in a pilot project by the Higher School of Economics aimed at the assessment of the training quality of university students "Comparative Research into the Training Readiness the Training Quality of Students from the BRICS Countries". The results were assessed with the help of methods jointly developed by the Higher School of Economics, Stanford University (USA), and Tsinghua University (China) and HEIghten® Outcomes Assessment Suite tool developed by the American company Educational Testing Service (ETS), and the adapted test ETS® Major Field Test for Computer Science.
According to the results of the research the quality of education for the following bachelor's programmes was higher than average for Russia (among the universities that took part in the research):
- Electronics and Nanoelectronics – the Faculty of Physics.
- Mathematical Support and Administration of Information Systems – the Faculty of Applied Mathematics, Informatics, and Mechanics.
- Information Systems and Technologies – the Faculty of Computer Sciences.
