On 28 April, a regular folklore party was held at the faculty of Philology of Voronezh State University. It was organised by the folk music group “Terem” supervised by Galina Khristova.
Such parties have been organised by the TeremOK folk-club for two years. The goal of the project is to familiarize young people with national cultural traditions and to get them interested in folk culture. All the participants of the event had a chance to dance traditional Russian dances, play games, and take part in traditional circle dancing.
The number of participating in Terem’s parties is constantly growing. Among members of TeremOK are not only VSU students but also people who are interested in traditions and are fond of active leisure. It should be noted that the party was multinational. Among its guests were people from China, Africa, Arabian countries, and Russia.
