A film about VSU is the winner of an international competition

The film “Main University Landmarks. Part 3” by Anastasia Samsonova, a student from the Faculty of Journalism of VSU, was among the winners of the international festival “Media Planet” in the nomination “Alma Mater. Television” (2nd place).

This year, over 600 works were submitted to the competition. Anastasia’s film belongs to a documentary cycle about the history of VSU dedicated to the celebration of the university’s centenary. Among the contributors to the film are: Professor Mikhail Karpachov from the Faculty of History, Professor Lev Kroichik from the Faculty of Journalism, Arkady Minakov, Director of the VSU library, Alexandra Stepynina, Head of the VSU Museum of History, Valery Zaborovsky, Director of the educational television laboratory, and Vladimir Isakov, Head of the educational television laboratory. The project was supervised by the Professor Alla Shesterina from the Faculty of Journalism.
