VSU Centre for the Collective Use of Scientific Equipment: a unique university subdivision

The VSU Centre for the Collective Use of Scientific Equipment was established in 2000. This subdivision houses unique scientific equipment for precise measurement. The centre allows developing and studying new methods of using scientific equipment, obtaining new experimental data, and enhancing the educational process.

The VSU Centre for the Collective Use of Scientific Equipment is an integral part of the research infrastructure of the Russian Federation. It has highly qualified specialists and modern scientific and analytical equipment. This allows conducting research, including research for external agencies.

The researchers of the centre use methods of molecular biology, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy, X-ray diffractometry, nuclear gamma resonance, and mechanical testing of nanomaterials.
