On 6 April, the Council of the Levoberezhny district of Voronezh invited VSU's international students to take part in the regional festival “So different, but so alike”. It was aimed at promoting tolerance to representatives of other nationalities, strengthening friendship and interaction between young people, and popularisation of national cultures of different nations.
The festival is held annually and the international students from our university are its permanent participants. Students from Benin, Indonesia, Iraq, Palestine, Nigeria, and Congo, who are actively involved in the social life of the university and visit creativity clubs of the Institute of International Education of VSU, showed their national performances on the stage of the Raduga centre for Youth Artistic Development of the Levoberezhny District. The performances by the international guests attracted a lot of interest among Voronezh schoolchildren and received a long-lasting applause. All participants of the festival received certificates and presents.
