Students meet employers

A large-scale event took place at Voronezh state University: Career Day, the day when representatives from prestigious companies met students and graduates. On 4 April, the event was held in university building 5a in Gilyarovskaya classroom and on 11 April in the auditorium of the main university building.

During Career Day, students from all university faculties could meet representatives of the leading companies in the area of IT and technologies, finance, audit, media and marketing, and education and state service, including Sberbank, the branch of “Atomtekhenergo”, “Novovoronezhatomtekhenergo”, DOM.RF, SIBUR, WorldQuant, NLMK, KPMG, and others. The guests had a chance to ask questions to the companies’ representatives, to get additional information, and to learn about internships and cooperation opportunities.

Anybody could give their resume to the company’s representatives, fill in the application form, have a job interview or get an invitation to it. What’s more, the companies participating in Career Day offered the future job applicants to take part in various business games which would provide them with the experience of going over selection stages and would help them show off their accomplishments.
