In accordance with the decree of the President of the Russian Federation and the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, starting from April 6, classes at Voronezh State University will resume in online format. This applies to students of all learning programmes. The details of the implementation of the university's operations are laid out in the official order.
“Over the past two weeks, more than 3,100 applications for the creation of new electronic courses have been processed on the “Electronic University VSU” web portal, which is used to implement e-learning and distance educational technologies. The portal was visited by 1,230 lecturers and 13,890 students. Last weekend, specialists of the Information Technology Administration reconfigured the servers of the “Electronic University VSU” web portal. We hope this will ensure the stable operation of the portal for all VSU students and lecturers in the near future. Specialists of the Information Technology Administration continue monitoring the equipment usage and user activity of the portal,” says Alexander Tolstobrov, Deputy Head of the Information Technology Administration.
It should be recalled that since March 30, VSU joined the Coursera for Campus program. Students, postgraduate students, and employees of the university now have free access to almost 4,000 courses on the platform. Until 31 July 2020, you can enrol in online courses by leading universities and companies.
