Our university enters the top 20 popular universities among Chinese students

The Ministry of Education of China published a rating of the most popular Russian Universities. Voronezh State University ranked 15th among 188 Russian universities.

The folk band of Terem of the Voronezh State University was awarded the title of “The Amateur Folk Band of the Voronezh Region”.

A student of the Faculty of Computer Sciences develops a method for increasing the seismic resistance of constructions

Designing support structures is one of the stages of any construction. It is most important to secure the stability of bridges, residential buildings, and other structures in earthquake endangered areas (for instance, in some parts of Japan, eastern part of Northern Caucasus, Siberia, and the Far East).

On 6 August our university signed a strategic partnership agreement with PAO Visochayshy (GV Gold), one of the biggest gold mining companies in Russia. The company is one of the TOP-10 leading gold mining companies in Russia.

The Faculty of Computer Sciences develops an alternative method for plastics processing

The researchers have developed a computer program which simulates the structure of various plastic molecules and breaks them down into more basic molecular entities which do not interfere with the environment, by applying radiation.
