The 9th AS-APPLE conference and exhibition in Seoul

The VSU team consisting of Vice-Rector Tatyana M. Davydenko (Innovations and Technology Commercialization) and expert in chef Julia Svetashova (Department of Strategic Development)took part in the 9th QS-APPLE conference at Sung-Kyun-Kwan University, Seoul.

The event is seen as the major conference and exhibition regarding education in Asia, Europe, America and Australia. The conference continued to support the international acknowledgement and globalization of the Pacific Rim universities that will enable to develop the cooperation between the higher schools of international level. The main objective of the event was to promote the development and advancement of universities in accordance with the changing demands of the world.

During the conference the participants shared their best practices in regard to education and methods of training of international double degree students. The QS indicators of Voronezh State University were also discussed by the participants. They gave their advice on how to improve them and advance the university's stand.

The conference resulted for VSU in a number of preliminary agreements on further cooperation concerning the double degree programs, students' exchange, participation in scientific events and projects with the universities of South Korea, Qatar, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia and certain Russian higher schools.
