Last week a Professor of Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg (Germany) and the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Economics Christoph Weiser, and a lecturer of the same Faculty Anna Dembo paid another visit to our university. Last year professor Weiser suggested organising a business game for our students. A year of preparation resulted in a business simulation game that was held at the Faculty of Economics between 19–23 October. Among the participants were students of the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of International Relations. The game was organised by an Associate Professor of the Faculty of Economics Irina Lyashenko.
During the first day of the event the students were divided into teams. Each team had to make decisions and manage their enterprise under competition with other teams. The players got a valuable experience of making decisions concerning production plan, price policy, advertising and recruitment.
The students found the game enjoyable and exciting and thanked the university guests for their work. All the participants of the game were awarded with certificates.
The event showed once again how dynamic cooperation between VSU and its old and reliable partner Martin Luther University is
