On 21st April, the President of Card Access Engineering (USA) Howard B. Gee gave a public lecture “Internet of things. What does it mean for me?” in Voronezh State University.
The students showed a lot of interest in the topic and asked a lot of questions.
Additionally, within the visit VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitskyy and the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Sciences Eduard Algazinov met representatives of American IT companies. The USA delegation included CEO of DSR Corporation Anatoliy Pechkov, the President of Card Access Engineering Howard B.Gee, a Vice-president of Card Access Engineering Jim Stout, and a Vice-President of Card Access Engineering Ray G. Ivins.
Dmitry Endovitsky talked about the university's international activity, contracts with American universities and creation of the VSU Information Technologies Centre. He also emphasised the importance of creation of joint master's programmes with leading foreign companies.
The President of Card Access Engineering, Howard B.Gee, noted the high level of knowledge of the VSU students present at the lecture.
