VSU postgraduate student gives a talk at the European Polymer Congress in Dresden

From 21–26 June a postgraduate student of the Department of High Molecular Compounds and Colloids of the Faculty of Chemistry of Voronezh State University Petr Kuschev took part in the European Polymer Congress 2015 in Dresden (Germany) and gave a talk entitled «Obtaining of aqueous dispersions of cross-linked poly-N-vinylcaprolactam and their aggregative stability».

The project presented at the Congress was implemented at the VSU Department of High Molecular Compounds and Colloids under supervision of professor Vyacheslav Kuznetsov and in collaboration with a leading researcher of the Laboratory of Polymer Physics and Chemistry of A.N. Nesmeyanov's Institute of Organo-Element Compounds Inessa Blagodatskikh. The Congress is one of the main platforms for exchange of the latest results in European polymer science. The event gathered more than a thousand scientists from Europe, America, Australia, China and other countries. It was organised with the support of International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), European Polymer Federation (EPF), German Chemical Society (GDCh) and Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden e.V. (IPF).
