On 27 February, Institute of International Education of Voronezh State University held a competition among male students. The organiser of this annual event is the Leisure and Culture Centre of the Institute of International Education.
Five students from Vietnam, Brazil, Iraq, Guinea-Bissau, and Somalia competed for the first prize. They demonstrated their knowledge of the Russian language and sports skills, presented national performances, danced Russian dances, recited poems, and sang Russian songs. The competition was dedicated to VSU’s anniversary, which is why the participants had to answer questions on the history of the university. Also, the VSU folk music group, Terem, performed at the event. The first prize was awarded to Hoang Ngoc An Duc, a student from Vietnam. The audience agreed with the decision of the jury.
