On 4 April, students and lecturers from the Faculty of International Relations of Voronezh State University took part in a round table discussion “Controversies of the Contemporary Europe”.
The Director of the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Associate Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the President of the Association of European Studies, and Honorary Doctor of VSU, Alexey Gromyko, gave a talk about urgent problems connected with international politics.
The discussion touched on global and national problems and the diplomatic crisis between Russia and the West. The participants of the event also discussed scenarios regarding the further development of the European Union and relations between Russia and Europe. The agenda of the meeting was very varied and the opinions shared gave way to further consideration and discussions.
