On 5 April, the defence ceremony of qualification works of the first graduates of the master’s programme “Executive MBA” (“General Management”) was held in the conference hall of the main building of Voronezh State University.
This programme is implemented in VSU in cooperation with ISC Paris Business School. The cooperation agreement was signed by the two universities in February 2016. It signified the international recognition of the university's academic reputation and the quality of education at VSU. ISC Paris Business School has been offering the Executive MBA programme for a number of years and it is accredited by the international organisation AACSB. As a result of successful accreditation of the lecturers of the VSU Business School, the institute delegated to our university the right to implement the joint academic programme. The programme aims at improving the professional competence of the top managers, learning new skills, and encouraging further development.
The duration of the programme is one year. The first term the students attend evening classes. Students from other cities and towns have an option to participate in extramural studies. The second term involves practical training at enterprises. After successfully defending their projects, the students of the programme can receive an Executive MBA diploma from ISC Paris Business School and an Executive MBA diploma from the VSU Business School.
The first students of the programme were 11 employees representing different small and large businesses in Voronezh.
