On 15 April, the Council of the Levoberezhny district of Voronezh invited VSU's international students to take part in the regional festival “So different, but so alike”.
This festival is held annually and international students from our university took part in it for the second time. The event took place at the Raduga centre for Youth Artistic Development of the Levoberezhny District. Among its participants were representatives of artistic teams of the centre “Raduga”, Moldovian national community “Berunitsa”, public regional national and cultural autonomy of Ukrainians in the Voronezh region, the centre for youth artistic development “Krylaty”, the leisure and culture centre “Levoberezhie”, child and youth clubs, students from Voronezh Institute of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, and secondary school students from schools of the Levoberezhny district. The audience included teenagers and youth from Voronezh.
National performances were presented by active students from Madagascar, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Iraq, Nigeria, and Congo. These students are members of creativity clubs of the Leisure and Culture Centre and administration of the Institute of International Education of Voronezh State University. The audience gave the foreign guests a warm welcome.
All participants received certificates and presents.
