VSU chooses Miss Physics 2019

On 30 April, the traditional contest "Miss Physics 2019" was held at the Faculty of Physics. The Faculty has been choosing the most talented first year female student for 16 years.

As usual, the first part of the event started with a catwalk of the participants and a common dance. After that, the girls needed to answer questions and to demonstrate their quick-wittedness. They had to answer serious and tricky questions from the jury. Their second task was to show how good they were at improvisation.

In the second part of the concert, the competitors presented individual creative performances. The audience enjoyed watching modern and ballroom dances and listening to piano pieces, monologues, and folk art.

While the jury were picking the winner, an anti-cafe certificate was raffled among the audience and a cinema connoisseur was chosen among them.

The students competed for 3 titles: Miss Physics, Vice Miss, and Miss Charm, which is chosen by the audience. In 2019, Ekaterina Lisyanskaya became Miss Physics, Milena Turina was Vice Miss, and Anna Emelianova received the title of Miss Charm.
