On 29 October, VSU Rector, Dmitry Endovitsky, had an online meeting with representatives from Japanese universities. The event held in the White Hall of the main university building was organised within the project “Study in Russia” initiated by the Rossotrudnichestvo's representative offices and dedicated to the Year of Russian-Japanese Inter-Regional and Twin City Exchanges. The meeting was moderated by Igor Titov, a representative of Rossotrudnichestvo in Japan.
Dmitry Endovitsky gave a presentation about Voronezh and Voronezh State University. He told the audience about life in the capital of the Black Earth Region, the history of the university, and benefits of studying at each of its faculties. The rector paid special attention to the courses in Russian language.
VSU has strong ties with many Japanese universities and companies. Without a doubt, the meeting will enhance the cooperation between Voronezh State University and Japanese universities. Having listened to the presentation, the Japanese party showed a lot of interest in the e-course “Russian for communication” developed by the Institute of International Education at VSU.
