Achievements of the university’s swimming school

480 young swimmers from 59 Russian cities took part in the interregional swimming competitions held within the tournament “Golden Ring Cup". The VSU swimming school team, comprised of Kira Yeriomina, Uliana Mashinskaya, Ivan Potapov, and Artem Gorbunov, showed the best results.

Uliana Mashinskaya was a bronze medal winner in the 50-metre breaststroke. Kira Yeriomina won gold medals in the 200-metre and 400-metre medleys and bronze medals in the 50-metre butterfly stroke, 100-metre breaststroke, and 800-metre freestyle. Despite her young age (the athlete is just 10 years old), she has already achieved the 3rd senior sport grade.

Our congratulations to the swimmers and their coach, Natalia Ismailova.
