The contest was initiated by the Iterclover.ru project.
Vladislav Berezhnoy presented to the jury his graduate qualification paper “Credit ratings and their role in the economy of the Russian Federation” (supervised by Elena Sysoyeva, Head of the Department of Finances and Credit). The research took first place in the nominations “Scientific Debut” and “Relevant Research of Applied Value”, second place in “Graduate Qualification Paper” and “Scientific Development”, and third place in the nominations “Innovative Research Project” and “Theoretical Overview”.
“It was my supervisor, Professor Elena Sysoyeva, DSc in Economics, who suggested that I should give it a try. It was my first experience of competing in a contest at such a level. I had only taken part in scientific conferences and a few academic competitions. In my project, I evaluated the credit rating of the Voronezh Region and the organisation of the real sector of the economy. I used the methods of the Russian Expert Rating Agency (Expert RA) and created ranking summary tables for the regions of the Russian Federation, banks, and institutions within the real sector of the economy”, said Vladislav Berezhnoy.
