Our staff members are among the winners of the contest for grants of the President of the Russian Federation

The winners of the 2021 contest for grants of the President of the Russian Federation for the state support of young Russian scientists have been announced. Five projects by the lecturers of Voronezh State University were listed among the best.

Anna Parshina, Associate Professor at the Department of Analytical Chemistry, and her application “Potentiometric multisensor systems based on Nafion membranes and modified carbon nanotubes used to analyse sulphanilamide preparations” became the winner in the contest among scientists with DSc degrees in the area “Chemical Sciences”.

Experts distinguished projects by four scientists with PhD degrees from our university:

  • Tamara Kondratenko, Associate Professor at the Department of Optics and Spectroscopy, and her project “Low-threshold limiters of density based on hybrid associates of organic dyes and plasmonic nanoparticles” in the area “Physical Sciences”;
  • Konstantin Titov, Associate Professor at the Department of Radiophysics, and his project “Development of techniques for functional efficiency enhancement of ultra-wideband communication systems under challenging noise conditions” in the area “Computer Sciences and Informatics”;
  • Nina Diakova, Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering, and her project “Development of express technologies to obtain inulin from promising plant sources” in the area “Medical Sciences”.
  • Dmitry Prosovetsky, senior assistant at the Communication Studies Centre, and his project “Acoustical interference holography in randomly heterogeneous, nonstationary hydroacoustic waveguides” in the area “Technical Sciences”.

“It’s nice to see how diverse the university's projects are: VSU has always shown good results in chemistry, physics, pharmacy, computer sciences, and technical sciences. I would like to congratulate the winners and urge them to continue their efforts! I am sure that this result will stimulate those who have ambitious plans for 2021,” said Oleg Kozaderov, Vice Rector for Research and Innovations at VSU.
