The Faculty of Philology holds a video conference with their colleagues from China

On 3 July, the Faculty of Philology of Voronezh State University held a video conference with lecturers and students from Shandong University of Railway Transport (China). VSU has been engaged in cooperation with the Chinese university for a number of years. Among the participants of the event were Olga Berdnikova, Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Vladimir Rodionov, Director of the International Education Institute, Elena Plyaskova, Deputy Dean for International Student Affairs at the Faculty of Philology, Zou Zhipeng, supervisor of Chinese students, and students from Shandong University of Railway Transport who are studying Russian and are planning to come to Russia.

The participants of the event discussed the prospects of the further cooperation between Voronezh State University and Shandong University of Railway Transport. The Chinese students spoke Russian: they gave short talks about themselves, their interest in Russian culture, and asked questions.

In the first semester, if necessary, the Faculty of Philology is ready to provide distance learning for students from China completing the education programme “Russian Language and Business Communication”.
