A university researcher awarded a prize by the Trapeznikov Institute of Control Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences

Yaroslav Turovsky, researcher at Trapeznikov Institute of Control Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences, associate professor at the Department of Digital Technologies, Head of the Laboratory of Medical Cybernetic at the Faculty of Computer Sciences of Voronezh State University, was awarded with the Professor Petrovsky prize. The prize is granted to young employees of the Institute for the best project in the area of management of biomedical and ecological systems and healthcare.

Yaroslav Turovsky received the prize for his project “Improving technologies for alternative human-computer interfaces”, which is dedicated to the development of additional control with the help of eye-tracking, brain activity, muscles, and assessment of the user’s stress reactions. The research will help extend the methods of controlling motor vehicle chassis, drones, personal computers, and other devices.
