On 8 February, an exhibition dedicated to the Day of Russian Science opened in the Rector's Gallery of VSU. VSU students and staff attended the opening ceremony.
“The exhibition presents the portraits of outstanding scientists, including VSU professors. For example, Vissarion Alexeyev, Vasily Regel, Maria Levitskaya, Vladimir Eytington, and VSU graduate and Nobel Prize laureate Pavel Cherenkov. These are original classical works (canvas, oil),” said Alexandra Stepynina, Head of the VSU Museum of History.
The informative part of the exhibition tells the story of VSU development. The documents, photos, works by VSU researchers, and other authentic items date back to the 1920s–1930s.
