On 18th and 19th April, the XV National Student Intellectual Games Championship organised by Voronezh State University, VSU Student Council, and the Intelligent Technologies Centre TSIT.RUS took place in Voronezh.
Approximately 400 people from central regions of the Voronezh Federation, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Tumen, Irkutsk, and Krasnoyarsk took part in the event.
The participants competed in three games categories that corresponded to sport versions of famous TV shows – "What? Where? When?", "Brain-ring", and "Erudite-Quartet” ("Jeopardy"). During the year, the best student teams competed for the right to participate in the Championship. To qualify for the Championship they had to win regional championships and major synchronised tournaments in presentio or in absentia.
