Following the results of monitoring of the performance of higher education institutions in 2020, Voronezh State University showed positive dynamics in six key parameters. They include educational, research, international, and financial and economic activities, salaries of the academic and teaching staff, and the number of academic staff members with a PhD or a DSc degree (additional parameter).
The parameter of educational activity increased by 0.9%. It includes the average state exam grade of the students who enrolled in full-time bachelor's degree and diploma degree (specialist) study programmes at the expense of the Russian Federation state budget and the payment of education costs covered by individuals and legal entities. The research index increased by more than 6%. The most outstanding result was the increase in the level of international activity. This parameter increased by 14.2%. The calculation of this criterion took into account the percentage of international students completing bachelor’s, diploma degree, and master’s programmes of the total number of students.
Financial and economic activity became 4.2% more effective. It includes the income of an educational organisation from all sources per academic staff member. The additional parameter regarding the number of academic staff members with a PhD or a DSc degree increased by 0.7%.
