Between 8 and 14 June, a student from the Faculty of International Relations of VSU, Daria Kudinova, took part in the international forum Eurasia Global – 2022 held in Orenburg. The forum was dedicated to “Soft diplomacy”, its tools and the way it is used at the international level. The forum presents an education programme which helps to improve your skills, get new ones, and then use them in real life.
The forum aims to develop the community of young leaders from countries around the world who are interested in implementing joint projects for sustainable development. It creates an environment where the participants can share best practices in the development of youth sustain development projects.
The participants of the forum included Nikolai Zhuravlev, Director of the Eurasian Fund for International Cooperation and Integration, Al Jihad Saddam Respiratory, Chairman of the Asian-African Youth Government (Indonesia), Ilia Kuzmichev, Deputy Chair of the Youth Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, Valery Smirnov, a special representative of the European Public Law Organization for the interaction with the Russian Federation, CIS, and Eurasian Economic Union, Alexey Roskoshny, chief advisor at the Department for Relations with Compatriots Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Andrey Konstantinov, managing partner of the consulting bureau Hard Restart, expert in the development of human resources and social projects, and speaker at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Valeria Fedosova, member of the political council and head of the international division of the youth wing of the United Russia party (the Young Guard of United Russia), Stanislav Byshok, lecturer at the Faculty of Political Sciences of Moscow State University, PhD in Political Sciences.
