The RAEX rating agency has published a list of the most influential Russian universities according to RAEX-Analytics. According to the results of the most influential Russian universities in 2022, Voronezh State University took 55th position. The previous ranking was published in 2020.
The ranking includes universities that have the greatest influence on various spheres of society (including the scientific community, youth, the Internet audience, etc.). The total ranking includes 75 universities of the country.
The top three in the ranking were Moscow State University, RANEPA, and St. Petersburg State University. The top 10 universities also included the Higher School of Economics, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, MEPHI and Ural Federal University named after the first President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin. VSU is the only university in the region that was included in the rating.
The rating was compiled based on 14 criteria, the data for which were formed based on a survey of universities and data acquisition from independent sources. These are graduate employment monitoring, Alexa web analytics, social networks, RAEX data on the number of graduates in senior positions in the largest Russian companies, data from foreign and Russian scientometric sources, etc.
