VSU’s sports club “Khitschnye Bobry” becomes the winner of “Georgian Sports Games”

On 24 December, VSU students took part in the winter stage of “Georgian Sports Games” in Moscow. Competitions were held in several disciplines: mini-football, volleyball, streetball, and relay race with elements of national sports. VSU was represented in the competition by athletes from Khitschnye Bobry sports club and teams of students from different faculties. A series of games with teams from other regions allowed determining the winners in each discipline.

According to the results of the competition, Khitschnye Bobry sports club took the following places:

First place in the relay race with elements of national sports
Second place in streetball (men)
Third place in streetball (women)
Third place in mini-football

In addition, according to the results of all games, “Khitschnye Bobry” took first place in the overall standing. Athletes were awarded with cups, certificates, and medals.

“This is our second victory in these competitions. It’s an amazing feeling to follow the success of our guys, at all stages they showed real teamwork. It didn’t matter which team the athletes belonged to, both for athletes and their fans on the stands they were one big VSU family. We would like to thank the organisers and our guys for such an exciting event on a cold rainy winter day,” said Igor Kotok, a specialist from the Department of Student Affairs of VSU.
