The rector of VSU visited Tajikistan. During the trip, negotiations were held with Laysan Abdullina, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Tajikistan. There were also meetings and negotiations at the Russian Embassy in Tajikistan, a meeting with the rector of the Russian-Tajik (Slavonic) University, and a tour of the building of the Faculty of Finance and Economics with a VSU graduate, Professor Samariddin Nizomov.
At a meeting with the RTSU Rector Fayzullo Mashrab Kurbonali they discussed active cooperation between universities according to the concluded agreements in the field of academic mobility of both students and academic staff. The delegations considered the possibility of cooperation between the Department of Economic Analysis and Audit of RTSU and the Department of Economic Security and Accounting of the Faculty of Economics of VSU as part of the double degree master’s and specialist’s programmes.
VSU representatives talked about secondary vocational education programmes for schoolchildren in grades 9-11. The delegation also visited the “Russian Area” at RTSU and learnt more about the operation of the centre.
