On 19 April, representatives of a private Russian space company SR Space headed by Sergey Mardanov, Deputy Director for Business Development, visited Voronezh State University.
VSU Rector Dmitry Endovitsky told the guests about the university’s satellite communications systems and microelectronics projects run jointly with the largest development companies.
The meeting discussed the prospects of partnership in the area of modern aerospace technologies, microelectronics and production of UAVs. As a result, VSU and SR Space signed a partnership agreement.
“We are eager to develop a mutually beneficial partnership with Voronezh State University, both in terms of technologies and academic activities”, said Sergey Mardanov.
The company is to participate in the implementation of the Advanced Engineering School “Russian Electronics, Radio Communications” and to open a joint scholarship programme.
