From big shopping centres to unusual specialist shops, Voronezh knows how to tempt your wallet.
Owing to the “black soil” of the Voronezh region, there is always fresh organic produce in abundance. So, you can enjoy healthy and delicious local fruit and vegetables all year round.
You can do your shopping in a number of malls around the city. The most popular shopping centres: Grad (one of the largest in Russia), Galereya Chizhova, Arena, Maximir, Yugo-Zapad, Tvoy Dom, Metro, Moskovskiy Prospekt, Armada, Solnechnyy Rai, and Petrovskiy Passage, Aksioma.
While in the shopping centres Karousel, Linia or Galereya Chizhova you will find grocery products of good quality but rather expensive, chain stores such as Magnit, 5x5, and Centrtorg may be cheaper but generally have a smaller range of products.
Souvenirs can be bought in Prospekt Revolutsii (e.g. in Liki Voronezha shop) or at the newsagent’s. Apart from world-famous matryoshkas (Russian Dolls) etc., a good local souvenir is “the Kitten from Lizyukova street”.
